The 300 Workout – Weekend Warrior – 3/30

Hey guys!!! NO 5 pm weekend warrior class this week. But here’s tonight’s workout you can do at home. NO EQUIPMENT REQUIRED! It’s the 300 Workout. You will do:

  • 3 exercises per round
  • 20 of each exercise
  • 5 rounds TOTAL = 300 reps!

Exercise 1) Low Jacks – jumping jack but keep body lowered to the floor the entire time. Pretend you’re in a room where the ceiling is about 4 foot tall 🙂
Exercise 2) Clapping Pushups –  Regular pushup but I want you to clap your hands between each rep! Modification: switch to knee pushups if necessary but keep your butt LOW – body flat!
Exercise 3) Power Squats – deep squat ’til your hands touch the floor then explode and jump off the floor, reaching hands overhead!

    Graham, Wanda, Marlene and I did this workout Saturday after Todd’s step class. Here are our times –
    Graham: 5:48, Michelle: 6:02, Wanda: 6:18, Marlene: 6:23. This was no joke. you can alter the clapping pushups if you need to (several altered to regular pushups instead of regular pushups as I promised we’d be done in about 6 minutes). But I challenge you guys to keep them as is, and hit this workout hard one day this week! 🙂
